401 Ingersoll Accident Today – On Tuesday afternoon, one person was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident on Highway 401 east of London. Following the incident, which involved two automobiles, two more people were taken to a hospital for treatment. The emergency services were called to the westbound lanes of the highway in Thames Centre, which are located to the west of Putnam Road, at approximately 1:40 p.m. According to Constable Jeff Hare, the medical examiner pronounced the death of one of the site’s residents.
“We are still looking into this matter.”Two more victims have been admitted to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening at this time. At this moment, no information about the identify of the deceased has been released. A team of Ontario Provincial Police detectives specializing in technical crash investigations remained on the scene for several hours. According to the preliminary investigation done by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), one of the vehicles involved in the collision exited the roadway, rolled, and eventually came to a stop in the north ditch.
