Alexander M. Thomas Obituary, Death – According to an update announcement by the York County Coroner’s office, the victim of the shooting has been identified as Alexander M. Thomas, who lived in the 100 block of Skyview Drive in Shrewsbury Borough. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. No further information has been made public at this time.

According to the announcement made by the Pennsylvania State Police on Monday, May 22, 2023, a man from Maryland who is 26 years old has been detained in connection with a shooting that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old male from Shrewsbury and the injury of a 38-year-old woman from New Freedom. According to the statements made by the police, the fatal shooting took place in the 4000 block of Steltz Road in Shrewsbury Township at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Piccolo “fled the scene in a vehicle,” according to the notice issued by the police.
