Allie Skinner Obituary, Death – It is with deep regret that we must inform you of the passing of Allie Skinner today. Allie was a founding member of the Buchan Pipe Band organization and was a highly regarded person within it. Allie provided a lifetime of devoted devotion to our Pipe Band, in addition to devoting himself to the advancement of pipe band music through the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.
We are going to miss Allie tremendously. SKINNER (Peterhead) Alexander (Allie) Skinner, who was 88 years old, passed away in peace on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the Kirkburn Court Care Home in Peterhead, surrounded by his adoring family. Dearly adored husband of the late May Birnie; a greatly cherished and caring father of Robert and Donna; a highly respected father-in-law of Edith; a proud and dedicated grandfather of Ewan and Greg and their wives Katie and Stacey; and an adoring great-grandfather to Mia, Esmee, Autumn, Grayson, Marley, and Reagan. May she rest in peace.
Extremely heartbreaking and irreparably missed. On Tuesday, May 9, at 1.30 p.m., there will be a service of Thanksgiving for his life conducted at The Almanythie Hall, located at Grange Road in Peterhead. All friends are cordially welcome to attend, and the service will be followed by interment at Grange Cemetery. Please do not call this number. Flowers from family only, however if you’d like, you can leave donations at the hall entrance for the charities of your choice in lieu of flowers.
