Anabelle Elizagaque Obituary, Death – On the afternoon of May 13, 2023, at about 2:20 PM, a concerned citizen reported to the Maa Police Station that a gunshot incident took place along Diversion Road near the corner of Bypass Road in the barangay of Ma-a, Davao. The incident took place at or around 2:00 PM on the same day.
Anabelle Cosido Elizagaque was found to be the victim of the attack.
She was found to be a female, 51 years old, separated, self-employed, and a resident of Block 5 Lot 5, Espino Subdivision, in the barangay of Dumoy in the city of Davao. The suspects were three males who could not be identified, and they were riding a black Honda CRF motorcycle that did not have a licence plate number.
The initial investigation revealed that the victim, while reversing her driven SUV, described a colour grey Ford Everest, bearing plate No.
LAF 2329 going out from the Power Asia Integrated Sales and Allied Services Compound which was owned by her daughter, Chat Elisagaque located at the aforesaid place of incident when suddenly two (2) of the three (3) suspects arrived in front of the SUV and then fired successive shots towards the victim. The investigation also revealed that the victim was struck by the bullets.
As a direct consequence of this, the victim was shot numerous times in a variety of locations on her body, which ultimately led to her untimely death. After that, the suspects sped off in the direction of the southbound lanes of the Diversion Road on their getaway motorcycle, a CRF, which was being driven by one (1) of their accomplices.
Accordingly, the victim had been involved in a fraudulent investment scheme in the past as an agent of RIGEN and trading firm. Additionally, the victim was allegedly connected with an individual named Rico Garcia and Paul Auditor as business partners.
