The commencement of Attorney Alexander’s career with the City of Greenville can be traced back to February 1996, when he was first elected to serve as a councilman for Ward 3 in the city. This election marked the beginning of Alexander’s stay with the city. After serving as a Councilman for Ward 3 until the end of its term in 2000, he was eventually appointed to the job of Interim City Attorney on August 29, 2000.
