Bender Pullem Obituary, Death – The Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that took place early on Saturday morning in the 1300 block of V Street, North-west. The incident took place in the North-west quadrant of the street.
After receiving a report of a shooting at approximately 1:50 in the morning, officers from the Third District responded to the scene of the incident and found evidence of a shooting. They found a victim who was an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene. The victim, a man named Calvin Grey who was 29 years old and originally from District Heights, Maryland, was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical staff that was present.
The authorities are urging anyone who may have information regarding the incident to come forwards with their knowledge as soon as possible. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that may lead to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for this act.
