Bob Cooper Obituary, Death – Bob Cooper, who was a member of our Pastoral Team and worked as the Lead Usher at our church for a number of years, passed away suddenly and went to be with Jesus. Our church will miss him greatly. We are passing on the sad news that Bob Cooper has passed away unexpectedly and gone to be with the Lord. It is with a heavy heart that we do so.
Even though it gives us some comfort to know that he is no longer in discomfort and is now in the presence of our Lord, his presence will be sorely missed by all of us here at the church that it hurts to even think about it. On the subsequent Thursday, the 18th of May, we shall pay our respects to him by holding a Memorial Service. This service is scheduled to take place on Thursday of this week.
The visitation will start at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, and the memorial ceremony will get underway at one. The afternoon time slot has been reserved for both of the activities. The Christian Life Church on Avalon is going to be the location of the services that are going to be held, so if you are interested in attending, you should head over there.
It is very important that you remember to pray for Margaret and their children and to keep them in your thoughts at all times. The family has asked that in lieu of sending flowers, donations be donated to the CLC Benevolence Fund instead. This is an organization that held a special place in Bob’s heart, where he worked, and for which he volunteered his time and assistance.
