Brandon Kidd Motorcycle Accident, Death – When the light turned red, 26-year-old Twin Falls resident Brandon Worring continued through the intersection against the light in his 2008 Subaru Impreza. The second driver, Twin Falls resident Ricky Muse, 44, rolled into the intersection of 2nd Avenue South and Blue Lakes Boulevard and collided with Worring’s Subaru. Muse was travelling north in a Ford pick-up truck from 2010 when the collision happened.
When Muse’s pickup truck hit the passenger side of Worring’s Subaru, the Subaru was propelled into another lane of traffic because Worring had run the red light at the crossing. When Worring’s car turned onto Kimberly Road from the kerb, it accelerated, crossed the kerb, and slammed into the Shake Out Burger restaurant’s front door. Worring was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. It’s a good thing the Shake Out was postponed on Sunday; otherwise, more individuals would have suffered injuries.
During the more than four hours that the Twin Falls crash was being investigated, Kimberly Road was closed. The car that was passing through the junction lost control and spun until it came to stop at the Shake Out, according to Lt. Terry Thueson of the Twin Falls Police Department. “The event took place at The Shake Out. Repairs may cause Shake Out to close unexpectedly for a while.
