Daniel Sanchez Obituary, Death – Daniel Sanchez, 77, passed away in Bakersfield, California.
He was born on September 21, 1945, to Joe O. and Adela Sanchez in Bakersfield, California. He was predeceased by his mother, father, brother, and sister. Danny was raised in Bakersfield, California. Along with East Bakersfield High School, he attended other neighborhood schools.
He joined the U.S. Navy after high school and was assigned to San Diego, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. He spent several years as a warehouse employee for Central Cotton before deciding to become a heavy equipment operator in the building industry. In Reno, Nevada, in March 1970, Danny wed Phyllis. 53 years of their marriage were spent in bliss. He cherished going camping at “Sliding Rock” with his family and friends.
Danny is survived by his wife Phyllis, son AJ Sanchez, daughter Stephanie Castillo, six sisters, and one brother. He is also survived by his parents. In addition to his 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, and a large number of cousins, friends, and nieces and nephews. Every day, Danny made the most of his life. Always left a lasting effect on everyone he encountered. He had an unwavering love and regard for everyone, and he was adored and respected by everyone he met.
He was everyone’s favorite mentor. He loved his grandchildren so much and he liked spending time with them. Family was incredibly important to him, and he always encouraged others to show their love to one another. He constantly carried out his own plans. Most importantly, he had a cool demeanor.
