Darren Smith Obituary Death – Arron Wayne Smith, 61 years old, went away unexpectedly on June 27th, 2020 in the city of San Antonio, Texas. He moved to Texas in 2004, after meeting the woman who would become his future wife on a Southwest Airlines trip. He was born in Yuba City, California, and he lived in Southern California before making the move. Darren was a great sports fanatic who also had a passion for traveling and experiencing new things.
He was a lifetime supporter of the Chargers and the Lakers, enjoyed the sport of scuba diving, jumped out of an airplane, took flying lessons, landed in the Grand Canyon, and explored a glacier in Alaska.Because of the tremendous work ethic and devotion he has displayed throughout his career, he has been able to amass more than 30 years of experience in the field of information technology and has most recently held the position of principal at FCM, LLC. Because of his employment, he traveled all over the world, and he had the chance to go to some truly remarkable locations, such as the Taj Mahal, Red Square, Burj Khalifa, and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), to name a few.
Following his successful treatment for cancer in 2012, Darren took up running and has since competed in and completed the New York City Marathon twice. In addition to that, he had served in the American Army. People were drawn to his charisma, and he will be remembered as the friendly and generous guy who always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making other people laugh. His memory will live on as long as people continue to talk about him. Willie Wayne Smith, Darren’s father, passed away before him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Belinda Lira Smith; his mother, Patricia Smith; his sister, Carrie Smith (Clay); his four children, Jenifer Maximoff (David), Justin Smith, Jori O’Reilly (Corey), and Janet Oliver; his three stepchildren, Jonathan, Nicole, and Jack O’Hara; six grandchildren; and a large number of other cherished relatives.
