Obituary

David Lamb Obituary, Death – The Virginia Quarter Horse Association is mourning the loss of David Lamb, a Hall of Fame member who passed away recently. The Lamb family is in the midst of our thoughts and prayers at this time. How is it possible to live up to the reputation of a legend? A giant of a man who towered over everything else. A man who, despite his circumstances, made every effort to further his career and achieve greater success.

He made it a point to repay everyone he had ever met. He was never someone else’s unfamiliar face. He had a deep passion for cowboy life, especially working with horses and cattle. He had a deep affection for both his family and his friends. He instilled in me the importance of making the most of each day and avoiding looking back with regrets. David Lamb, who was my dad, was a legendary figure.

He is currently in a relationship with Sally G. Lamb. And a huge number of additional people who were significant in a variety of aspects of my life. I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity I had to spend time with them. They left a legacy, of which I am grateful to be a part, which they constructed. I have no doubt that they are keeping a close eye on us as the event progresses.

They will be greatly missed by all of us. But they left something for everyone of us to take away and remember, and that will help us construct a better future as we move forward. Indeed, my father was a legendary figure and an outstanding cowboy in his day. That cannot be justified with any reasonable amount of words. In the near future, we will be making announcements.
