David Mcconnell Obituary, Death – David McConnell was a devoted family guy who took great pride in his responsibilities as a brother, husband, father, and grandfather. At the age of 78, he passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on the day Saturday, January 22, 2022. When we tell people the news about his passing, we do so with heavy hearts and a tremendous deal of anguish in our hearts.
At the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, against our desire, he was taken from us and placed in another patient’s care. It is likely that Darlene’s children, Jeff Handsaeme (Jenny) and Shelley Boyd (Rick), as well as Shelley and Rick’s children, Britny Boyd (Anthony), Brianna Boyd (Josh), and Brook Boyd (Colton), will have happy recollections of their grandfather.
Also likely to have such memories are Darlene’s grandchildren, Britny, Brianna, and Brook. His sister, Penny Anne Coates, as well as his mother, Rita Coates, his father, Gordon McConnell, and his stepfather, Johnny Coates, all passed away before he did. His stepfather was also named Johnny Coates. He referred to Johnny Coates as his stepfather throughout the conversation.
His death will leave an enormous vacuum in the lives of his many family members and friends, as well as in the hearts of Missy and Fluffy, the dogs that he maintained as pets.
