David P Hampton Obituary, Death – David P. Hampton, 65 years old, a lifelong resident of Juniata County, passed away on April 18, 2023 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Dale M. and Catherine N. (Dutrey) Hampton, both of whom passed away, and was born on April 20, 1957 in Lack Township. In 1975, Dave earned his high school diploma from Juniata, and the following year, he began working at the fish hatchery operated by the Pennsylvania Fish Commission in Thompsontown.

After that, he worked as an auto body repair technician for Dale S. Hampton. In his early years, he was known to be an avid coon hunter in addition to his other hobbies, which included gardening and hunting. His daughter, Darla J. Vawn, and her husband, Daniel, all of East Waterford, as well as his three granddaughters, Lauren, Caitlen, and Beca Vawn, are his living descendants.

In addition, there are three brothers and three sisters who are still alive: Dale Hampton and Dena Hampton of East Waterford, Daniel Hampton of Mifflin, Dawn Hampton of Shippensburg, Dina Hampton and her companion, Brian Clouser of East Waterford, and Deric Hampton and his wife, Natasha, of East Waterford. All of these members of the Hampton family are still alive. In addition, there are numerous relatives who are living, as well as 9 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews, an uncle named John Hampton who lives in Chambersburg, an aunt named Beatrice Trego who lives in East Waterford, and so on.
