Deontae Vickers Death, Obituary – The shooting that took place over the weekend has left the Montgomery Police Department convinced that they have accurately identified the person who was murdered in the incident. The occurrence took occurred during the course of the previous weekend. According to Maj. Saba Coleman, on Saturday at around 5:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Finley Avenue in order to investigate a disturbance that was said to have taken place in that location.
The inquiry was conducted with the goal of establishing whether or not the disruption was indeed caused by the location in question. When the police arrived at the scene of the event, a woman who had been shot was pronounced dead at the location of the incident. The actual occurrence took place at the location where the woman had been shot in the previous incident.
Monday was the day that the authorities were finally able to positively identify her as Deontae Vickers. Deontae Vickers was born in Montgomery and has reached the age of 34 at this point in his life. When she was hauled into custody, it was reported that she had 34 years under her belt at the time. A second victim reportedly sustained injuries that required medical attention and was accordingly transferred to a local hospital for treatment as a result of their condition, as reported by the police after they obtained relevant reports from the scene of the crime.
