Derek Ley Obituary, Death – Derek Ley was born on the 19th of August 1981 in the city of Galveston in the state of Texas. Derek is Fernando and Terri (Myers) Ley’s son. They named him Derek. At the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday, May 25, 2023, he took his last breath and departed this life. He has reached the age of 41.
Derek received his diploma from the Union High School in Tulsa in the year 2000. While he was a student at the University of Oklahoma, he became acquainted with the woman who had previously held the title of Miss Stacy Singleton. Tarp Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was as the setting for their wedding on May 26, 2007. In the course of his long and successful career in the oil and gas industry, Derek held positions with Helmerich and Payne, Trinidad Oil Company, and the University of Tulsa.
He loved to wear red while rooting for his Sooners, working in his yard, preparing food on the grill, and spending time on the back porch. The time he got to spend with his family, especially with his daughter and his two kids, brought him the most happiness. He enjoyed watching Keira play soccer and taught Carson and Connor the fundamentals of baseball in his spare time.
