Dympna is the name that has been given to Deirdre Maguire’s mother. The whole of Deirdre’s family, including Deirdre herself, is actively involved in the club on a variety of different levels, including playing, coaching, and serving in various administrative capacities. One of the people involved is named Deirdre. Dympna is an active member of the club and takes part in its various activities.
