Ed Burke Obituary, Death – Sadly, Ed Burke, who was best known as the “E” in “E&M Glass,” passed away not too long ago.
Ed has been battling cancer for a number of years, and unfortunately, his struggle has finally come to an end. Most of you are probably aware of this, but the battle has finally been won by the cancer. On the evening of Monday, May 15, 2023, Ed passed away. He was surrounded by members of his family at the time of his passing.
Ed was a skilled glassblower who possessed a great degree of talent for crafting many kinds of glassware, including tableware and stemware. In addition to that, one of his greatest interests was the production of glassware in a geometric style. He had over 35 years of experience working in the glass sector and was able to successfully overcome the bulk of the obstacles that were thrown his way during that time.
Together with his wife Margaret, he established a partnership that was successful and well-rounded. Ed’s wake will be held at The Buck in Bangor on Dee, and the funeral service will take place at Wrexham Crematorium at noon on Wednesday, May 31. The date of May 31 will play host to both of these activities.
