Elizabeth McPherson Obituary, Death – On May 16, 2023, Elizabeth Ann (Overkamp) McPherson, who resided in Otsego, Michigan, passed away and went to be with her Loving Lord and Savior. On July 9, 1976, in the city of Holland, Michigan, Danny Overkamp and Martha Garvelink welcomed their daughter Elizabeth into the world. In high school, Elizabeth would begin a relationship with the man who would become the love of her life, Matthew McPherson.

Her primary goal in life was to bring glory to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by serving as a devoted wife. In addition, as a devoted mother, she devoted herself to the task of rearing and educating their children in the home environment. Her favorite things to do included mountaineering in the Smoky Mountains, taking trips with her family, and spending time with her friends and family.
Elizabeth’s undying devotion to Jesus shines through in every aspect of her life. At Allegan Bible Church, she was her extended family’s listening ear and source of sound advice when they needed either. Sadie Grace (Logan) Wilson and Alistair McPherson are Elizabeth’s children. She is also survived by her parents, Danny (Rhonna) Overkamp and Martha (Steve) Garvelink, as well as her brother, Aaron (Diana) Overkamp.
