Ellie Dikegoros Obituary, Death – On Thursday, October 8, 2020, Nicholas C. Dikegoros, 91, a resident of West Hartford, Connecticut, passed away at the UConn John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Connecticut. He had found inner tranquility. Nick Dikegoros, Zoi (Gisaki) Dikegoros’ devoted spouse, was created on December 2nd, 1928 in Kozani, Greece. His wife’s full name is Zoi (Gisaki). Kostas and Efthemia Dikegoros had already passed away before their child was born.
After leaving Greece in 1955 with his family, Nick began the process of making a better life for himself and his family in the United States. Nick left for America in the year 1955. In 1973, Nick opened Pizza West in West Hartford. He continued to operate it until 2007, when he decided to retire.
At that time, he exerted a tremendous amount of effort to achieve his goals. Nick was present when Pizza West became into a well-known fixture in the West Hartford neighborhood. During this time, Nick also forged strong bonds with several of his clients.
Nick was also a devoted follower of the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Hartford, Connecticut, to which he had long belonged. Many people respected and loved him, and those who knew and cared about him will be deeply saddened by his passing.
Ellie Dikegoros of West Hartford, Connecticut, and Effie Dikegoros of Charlestown, Massachusetts, both of whom reside with their husbands, as well as Nick’s wife, are left behind. Married couple Frank Kotopoulos and Effie Dikegoros lived together. Both the funeral and the burial were conducted in private at the request of the family.
