Frances Lucille Dana Obituary, Death – Frances, Lucille Dana, may the sweetness of your memory always be with us. April 29, 2023 Frances Lucille Dana passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 77, in a quiet and peaceful manner while surrounded by her family. Her passing occurred on that day. Her parents, Richard Sr. and Lena Preeman, as well as her brother, Richard Preeman, Jr., and her sister, Donna Wood.
As well as her granddaughter, Cristi Ann McCarthy, and her great-granddaughter, Chloe Bertrand, all died before Frances did. Frances is the only surviving member of her family. Frances is survived by, her brother, George (Ethel) Preeman, of Mexico, NY; her daughters, Karen Ladd of Mexico, NY; Sharon Ladd of Palermo, NY, Judy Wilbur (William Sr.) of Mexico, NY, Kathy Geddes (Edward) of Mexico, NY and Kelly Bailey, of Mexico, NY; along with 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Frances was loyal to her family and found fulfillment in the job that she did with children and teenagers. She enjoyed working with children of all ages immensely, whether it was at Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, or directing plays and pageants that she had written and directed herself. She even directed her own plays and pageants. She left a significant mark on the lives of many individuals and will be greatly mourned by all of them.
Funeral Services will be place at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. on the Monday, May 15, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon. This date and time is subject to change. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home between the hours of two and three o’clock in the afternoon, prior to the start of the funeral service at three.
