In 2010, he exchanged vows of matrimony with the woman, Marti Hartwell Roberson, whom he had loved for his entire life. If you knew Blaine, you presumably already know that he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and that he found a great deal of fulfillment in being able to provide for his family, which included his wife, Rylee, and their son, Reece.
If you don’t know Blaine, you probably won’t know either of these things. The majority of Blaine’s Sundays are dedicated to serving in a variety of ways at Destiny Community Church, where he also makes it a point to attend services. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing, but he also enjoyed building things, so those were two of his favorite things to do. His wife Marti Hartwell Roberson, his children Rylee Elizabeth Roberson and Reece Landon Roberson, his mother Gloria Herring and his father Donald Herring, his brother Blayize (Emily) Herring and his sister Brittany (Josh) Troiano, as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews, all survive him.
He was devoted to his family as both a spouse and a parent. This little eulogy will never be able to do justice to all of the things that Blaine meant to his family, church, community, and all of the individuals who knew and loved him. A memorial service honoring the life of the deceased will be conducted at the Destiny Community Church in Newberry on June 3 beginning at ten o’clock in the morning.
