Jacob Granberg Car Accident, Death – A driver was killed early on Monday morning when, according to the deputies, his vehicle crossed over into the oncoming lane on Route 67 and collided with a school bus that was heading in the opposite direction.
At 7:15 in the morning, Jacob D. Granberg, who was 23 years old and originally from Ballston Spa, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The sheriff’s office claims that Granberg’s vehicle went into the opposite lane of traffic, collided with a bus, and then set off a chain reaction that led to the bus crashing with a third vehicle.
This was all caused by the first collision with the bus. When it was involved in a collision with an eastbound vehicle that was moving on the westbound side of Route 67, the car that Granberg was driving was in front of the bus when it occurred. A woman from Rock City Falls who is 45 years old and was transferred to Albany Medical Center Hospital to receive treatment for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, was involved in an incident that occurred earlier today.
The bus driver did not receive any injuries as a result of the accident. In addition, none of the four students who were riding the bus were hurt in the incident. The crash occurred in the vicinity of the intersection where George Thompson Road meets many other roads.
