James Barron Obituary, Death – James C. “Jamie” Barron, who was a resident of Simms, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 in a hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was 53. Jamie Barron’s birthday is February 4, 1970, and she was born in Naples, Texas to parents Bo and Toni Barron. At the time, he was working for SFG Network Co. as a warehouse manager.
Both the Rock Creek Baptist Church and the Siloam Baptist Church were regular stops on his churchgoing schedule. In an early phase of his professional life, Jamie earned an Associate’s Degree in Funeral Service. He cherished his children, grandchildren, and other members of the family and took great delight in them.
Aunt Lou Ann Karr and uncle Billy Wayne Karr, who both predeceased him, were his aunt and uncle, respectively. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Suede and Sydney M. Barron of Simms, Texas; two daughters, Sydney Barron and Spencer Barron, both of Texarkana, Texas; his wife and the mother of his children, Lisa Barron of New Boston, Texas; his parents, Bo and Toni Barron of Simms, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Lori Barron of West Frankfort, Illinois; a sister and brother
Funeral services will be held at the Siloam Baptist Church in Simms, Texas on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The Reverends Steve Minter and Justin King will preside over the ceremony. After the service, the body will be laid to rest at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas. The Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas will host a visitation on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM and continuing until 8:00 PM.
