Obituary

James Galloway Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, James Alan “Jimmy” Galloway, age 35, went away in an unexpected manner. A service honoring the life of the deceased will be held at the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel on Thursday at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Jimmy was born to Barbara Galloway and Scott Galloway in Pitt County, where he has always called home. He earned his high school diploma from DH Conley and his college degree from East Carolina University.

Jimmy’s present job at Cisco was that of a Virtual Sales Specialist for the Data Center, and he had held that position for some time. In addition to that, he was a co-leader of the Emerging Talent RTP Chapter, where he assisted in the organization of activities that were inclusive, varied, and developmental for Cisco’s talent. He was pleased to be a part of Cisco and had been looking into new chances within the firm as recently as the previous few days. He was constantly seeking to improve himself while also striving to make the most of his contribution to the organization.

Family and friends will remember Jimmy warmly for his sense of humor, his generous spirit, his kindhearted personality, and his sensitivity toward others. Jimmy will also be remembered for his generosity. He already had a sizable circle of acquaintances and was adept at rapidly accumulating additional ones everywhere he went. He was always eager to learn something new and was very interested in finding ways to make the world a better place.

He was a daring chef, and one of his most cherished activities in the entire world was preparing mouthwatering food for his loved ones and close friends to enjoy together. His home was filled with music at all times, and he played the piano whenever he got the chance. He was constantly experimenting with different ideas and concepts due to his unquenchable curiosity and ravenous hunger for knowledge. He was unquestionably a dork and had a passion for playing computer and video games.

In his early life, he made a few detours here and there that put him behind, but he always managed to keep moving forward, and he has just arrived at a point of calm and hope, with intentions for living his life in a manner that is more consciously positive and growth-focused. Due to the unfortunate circumstances, those plans were scrapped, and as a result, each and every one of us now has a gaping hole in our hearts.
