Jana Sixkiller Obituary, Death – At the time of her passing on May 15, 2023, Jana Adelle Sixkiller, a lady who resided in Springdale, Arkansas and was a mother to two children, was a patient at Northwest Medical Center. The 15th of February found Jana being brought into the world in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was brought up in the little town of Chewey, Oklahoma, by her doting parents, Jim and Annie Sixkiller, where she had many opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and make new friends.
Her parents’ names are Jim and Annie Sixkiller. After completing her high school education, she went on to pursue more education and ultimately earned an associate’s degree in addition to a variety of certificates. Her favorite activities included rock climbing, fishing, and finding new places to explore, especially if they were free or affordable. Additionally, she was an expert at making frybread, which was one of her favorite foods.
Some of the many people who she considers to be both friends and family include her big extended family as well as her numerous relatives. Among her many friends and family members are also her two nephews, Tyara and Daylon Thomas, as well as her two nieces, Tanika and Kyzlee Sixkiller. Matthew Elliot, who is both her closest confidant and best friend, currently resides in Springdale. Tahlequah, Oklahoma is the place where Shantana Sixkiller, her husband, and their two brothers, Marcus and Jeremy, all call home permanently.
Her older brother, Jim Sixkiller, as well as her parents, Jim and Annie Sixkiller, had already passed away before she did. On Monday, May 22, 2023, the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home will be open from four in the afternoon until eight in the evening for a visitation. A memorial ceremony will be held on May 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Illinois River Baptist Church in Chewey, Oklahoma. Bro. Leo Bird will preside over the event.
