Joe Mpisi Obituary, Death –   Joe Mpisi, a former trade unionist and politician from South Africa, was born on November 12, 1966. He has served as an ANC representative in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since 2014. Since 2012, he has served as the South African Communist Party’s (SACP) provincial chairperson for Gauteng. Mpisi was born in Meadowlands, Soweto, in the modern province of Gauteng, on November 12, 1966. At Lamola Jubilee Senior Secondary School, where he graduated, he got involved in politics against apartheid, especially through the United Democratic Front.

Mpisi claims that he joined the ANC and the SACP, the ANC’s close partner, in 1980. Mpisi was born in Meadowlands, Soweto, in the modern province of Gauteng, on November 12, 1966. He was active in the National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union, a member of the Congress of South African Trade Unions, where he first held the position of shop steward before rising to the position of vice president.In March 2012, at the Gauteng SACP’s tenth provincial congress in Benoni, he was chosen without opposition as the party’s provincial chairperson. He was assisted by Rosemary Thobejane-Ndoqo, the deputy of Jacob Mamabolo, the provincial secretary.
