Joseph McKenna Obituary, Death – Joseph McKenna was a well-liked theology professor at Albertus Magnus College, the voice of Albertus Athletics, and a buddy to a great number of individuals. It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you of his departure, since we are deeply saddened by the news ourselves. Joe devoted the first ten years of his life to serving Albertus Magnus, and he took great pride in the role that he played as a Falcon.
Joe was the kind of person who understood the necessity of cultivating meaningful human relationships. He was deeply concerned about the pupils, his fellow teachers, and his relationship with God on a spiritual level. Attending morning chapel, organizing student dances, and leading class visits to the press box were just a few of the things Joe did for and with his family that emanated generosity and delight.
Joe also led class tours to the press box. During this trying time, the whole community at Albertus Magnus would like to convey their deepest love and thanks to Joe’s wife, Susie, as well as their heartfelt condolences, sympathies, and sorrow for the loss of their extended family. Joe, may the gift of eternal rest be given upon him by you, O Lord, and may your unending light shine upon him throughout all eternity.
I pray that his soul, together with the souls of all the other religious individuals who have died away, is at peace for all eternity. May he rest in peace. A prayer service will be held for our students on Tuesday morning, and counselors will be present at the Center for Innovation and Learning to support our community and aid with any difficulties that may come up throughout the day. The information regarding the Memorial Mass and Celebration of Joe’s Life, both of which are now in the process of being organized, will be sent in a separate communication after it has been determined that all of the specifics have been finalized.
