Joseph Spicuzza Obituary, Death – Joseph Spicuzza, a renowned instructor and coach, passed away recently, and the entire school community is in mourning. Mr. Spicuzza has had a big influence on the lives of a large number of students and athletes over the course of the past 33 years ever since he became a member of the NDCL staff in the year 1990. On May 16, he left this world and began an existence that will never end. Joe was born in New Brunswick, but he lived the majority of his life in Jamesburg, which is located in the state of New Jersey, until migrating to Lanoka Harbor.
Before taking his retirement in 2008 as the Director of Procurement for the state of New Jersey, he had served for the government of that state for a total of thirty years. He was an active bowler, golfer, and hunter in addition to being a participant in league bowling. Those who are still alive include his sister Maria Spicuzza Elfert and her husband Michael of Bayville, as well as his nephew Ben and his niece Nichole, as well as his three closest friends Gabriella, Sofia, and Juliana, and a significant number of his close cousins. In addition, he has a number of other relatives.
Services will commence on Saturday, February 16 at 11 a.m. at the Lester Memorial Home, which is situated at 16 W. Church St. in Jamesburg. This will be followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:30 a.m. at the St. James RC Church, which is also located in Jamesburg. The burial will take place at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick, which has been designated as the location for the ceremony. On Saturday, friends and relatives will have the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased at the funeral home from nine in the morning until eleven in the morning.
