Laura Lamore Obituary, Death – Laura Catherine Lamore, who was 86 years old at the time of her death on September 4, 2005, passed away at her home in Upland, California. On October 12th, 1918, she was born to Sidney and Josephine Bush in Rodeo, California.
Her parents’ names were Sidney and Josephine Bush. The 12th of October is her special day. After she finished her high school education at Richmond High School, she continued her education at Merit Business College, from which she graduated. In 1940, she wed Charles Joseph Lamore, and the couple stayed married until his demise in 1983. They had three children together.
For the past fifty-five years of her life, she has called the city of Chino in California her home. Both she and her husband Charles were dedicated photographers who enjoyed participating in the activities of the Pomona Valley Camera Club and giving slide shows as a hobby. In addition, they enjoyed traveling quite a bit. Laura was involved in her local community through her participation in the Chino United Methodist Church as well as the Girl Scouts.
She was such an active participant in the Chino Senior Citizens that they eventually awarded her the honor of “Senior Citizen of the Year.” She held a number of offices inside the Center in addition to her role as an instructor for several crafts. She is survived by her two daughters, Sylvia Miller of St. Louis, Missouri, and Carla Murray of Upland, California, as well as her three grandsons and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband.
