Lester Martin Obituary, Death – Lester M. Martin III, who lived in the area, suddenly away unexpectedly on Friday, July 15, 2022, at his home in Ellington. He was a resident of the area. Born in Hartford on August 10, 1958, he was the eldest son of Arlene K. (Rowe) Martin, who has since passed away, and the late Lester M. Martin, Jr. He was named after his late mother. He is survived by his mother Arlene, who resides in Enfield; his three children, Matthew Dubreuil and his wife Guila of Enfield, Leslie Martin and Zechariah Martin of Wales, Massachusetts.
His three siblings, Matthew Martin of Enfield, Lisa Martin and her partner Bill Schweitzer of Windsor Locks, and David Martin of Enfield; his grandson Noah Dubreuil; his niece Natasha Schweitzer; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Martinez and stepson Matthew Martinez; and his cat Kit. Tina Martin, his wife, and Crystal Martin, his sister, both passed away before he did. He was the last of his family members to die. Lester was a kind and caring man who had a deep concern for the well-being of his wife and children, in addition to his brother, uncle, and grandfather.
He also had a profound concern for the well-being of his brother and uncle. He was constantly willing to lend a hand in any capacity he was able to do so successfully. Walking around Crystal Lake, soaking in the breathtaking sights of the surrounding natural terrain, and spending additional time with his cherished cat, Kit, brought him a great deal of pleasure. The residents of Crystal Lake and the surrounding area felt a great deal of warmth and compassion for him. His family and friends will undoubtedly feel a deep sense of loss upon learning of his passing.
