Margaret Holley Obituary, Death – Longtime resident of Morris Run, Pennsylvania, Margaret “Marge” Holley, 84, passed away early on May 16, 2023, at the Green Home in Wellsboro. On April 15, 1939, a Saturday, Margaret Elizabeth Miller was born in Canton, Pennsylvania. She was one of the late Albert and Ethel (Stein) Miller’s nine children. She tied the knot on December 7, 1957, with Thomas E. Holley.
Up until his departure on December 8, 2015, they had 58 years of happy marriage during which they raised six children. Before retiring in 2003, Marge worked for Ward Manufacturing for almost 30 years. One who preferred to be busy, she and her husband Tom spent a number of years helping her daughter at the Window Box Flower Shop in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, when she retired.
Marge loved to garden, especially when she was tending to her lovely flower gardens. She adored going camping, traveling, and cooking. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was something she always looked forward to. Marge is survived by her children, including Michael (Candice) Holley of Morris, Kathy (Paul) Hemling of Blossburg, Timothy Holley of Antrim, Steven (Carol) Holley of Morris Run, Robin (Todd) Holley and Roxanne (Ernest) Waltz, both of Blossburg, grandchildren, Jason Hemling, Heather (Brian) Hemling, Matthew (Whitney) Holley, Cody Holley, Casey Holley, Elizabeth Hol
Along with her parents and husband Thomas, Marge was also preceded in death by her sisters Joann Brown and Cathy Moss, her brothers Albert, Joseph, Donald, Charles, and George Miller, as well as her daughter-in-law Elizabeth A.
