Mark Wilkie Obituary, Death – On June 6, 2021, in the city of Temple Terrace, Florida, Mark Stephen Jr. Wilkie, who was 32 years old, suddenly tragically abruptly. His wife’s name was Elizabeth (Shanahan), and she was from South Boston. Mark was born in Tampa, Florida to parents Mark S. Wilkie and Lisa (Poggioli) Wilkie. Mark was named after his mother.
In addition, he is survived by his parents, his brother Zachary J. Wilkie and his wife Patricia de la Cabada of Gainesville, Florida, his in-laws Mary and Michael Shanahan of Marblehead, the siblings of his wife, and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all of his relatives. Mark was a caring and devoted son, brother, and spouse. He was also devoted to his family. Because of his quick wit and gregarious personality, he managed to make an indelible mark on everyone he came in contact with.
Everyone in Mark’s vast circle of friends and family knew how ecstatic he was to see Elizabeth’s pregnant daughter in August. This invaluable life will serve as a continual reminder of Mark and continue to bring people who loved him comfort even after he has passed away. Mark’s brilliance and his ability to cultivate relationships were consistently praised for their contributions in the workplace.
He took pleasure in maintaining his physical fitness, swimming in the gentle surf off the coast of Florida, and dining on Cuban sandwiches with his relatives in Ybor City while smoking cigars. There is no sufficient way to explain how much of an impact he has had and how much he will be missed. Before enrolling at Jesuit High School in Tampa, Mark had previously attended Boston College and Hong Kong Polytechnic. He formerly held a position in the financial department at Suffolk Construction, and for the past six years, he has been employed as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.
