Matt Borchard Obituary, Death – We suspect that my brother Matt went away today as a result of a combination of a heart attack and a stroke. His passing came as a shock to all of us. At this point, we do not have any information that can be considered definitive. Matt was known to be a good-natured and giving individual, and he enjoyed the support and affection of a large number of friends and family members.
He wasn’t one to spin things in a positive light, but you could tell that his intentions were good. Due to the fact that he enjoyed tanning so much, we spent a significant amount of time on Catalina Island, more notably at Emerald Bay. I was able to extend his life and make each year of it more fulfilling for him by donating one of my kidneys to him. As a result, he has been blessed with more years of life.
As a direct consequence of this, this is the day that marks the departure of an essential component of myself that is significant in both the literal and the figurative senses. Despite this, Matt has never stopped giving it his all when it comes to matters of love, being a great person, and assisting other people. We are grateful to you, Matt, for being such a wonderful older brother and for spending over half of your life enlightening and entertaining us with your wit and knowledge.
Because of everything you’ve done for us, we are extremely thankful to you. I am well aware that you would encourage me to “get on with life” and to make the most of each chance that comes my way to the absolute best extent possible. Everyone in my family, including myself, will miss you very dearly; nevertheless, I have faith that someday we will meet again in paradise and that our paths will cross once again. Love you.
