Micheal O’Hara Obituary, Death – Michael Leroy O’Hara died on May 19, 2023, in Houlton, at the age of 77. He was born on June 20th, 1945 in Bangor, Maine to Leroy and Christine (Campbell) O’Hara. Michael graduated from Houlton High School in 1963, Ricker College in 1972, and Bryant & Statton College of Boston in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Maine is home to all three schools. He retired from the Army National Guard after serving in Vietnam for 21 years, and he then retired from the United States Postal Service after working there for 20 years. Mike enjoyed traveling by rail and used it to visit the entire United States. He is survived by a sister, Marilyn Oliver, who lives in Tennessee. Prior to his death in 2012, both his parents and his wife, Ruth, died.
The Reverend Wayne Robertson will preside over a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. At the completion of the service, the deceased will be given military honors.
