Ralph Barber Obituary, Death – Ralph Barber Sr. had a sudden and unexpected death on April 25, 2023, at his residence. On January 26, 1956, Ralph was born to his parents, Ralph and Elizabeth (Regimbald) Barber, in the town of Proctor, Vermont. Ralph spent his childhood in Danby, Vermont.
After completing his schooling in Wallingford, Vermont, Ralph moved to Westminster, Vermont, to make his home.
Ralph cherished the time he got to spend with his children and grandchildren; he especially enjoyed passing on his wisdom to his grandson Mason and engaging in card games with his granddaughter Sophia. In addition to that, he enjoyed working on things and fixing anything, going fishing and hunting, and playing video games.
Ralph had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making other people laugh and telling jokes. In addition to his one son, Mitchell Barber of Brattleboro, Ralph is survived by his five daughters: Jennifer (Barber) Riviezzo of Perkinsville, Tasha Barber of Westminster, Stephanie Barber of St. Albans, and Nicole Barber Zielonko of North Adams, Massachusetts; and Tasha Barber of Westminster.
James and Robert Sherman, both of Brattleboro, and Charles Sherman, of Vermont, are Ralph’s surviving brothers. Ralph is also survived by one sister. Robin Hale, who lives in Rutland, Pamela Johnson, who lives in Brattleboro, and Rhonda Fitts, who lives in Bellows Falls are Ralph’s three sisters. He has a total of 16 relatives including grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Ralph Barber Jr., his son; three nephews; and two nieces all passed away before Ralph.
