Shawn M. Honeycutt Obituary, Death – 43-year-old Honeycutt, Shawn M. On May 4, 2023, Shawn M. Honeycutt, who resided on Grand Island and was 43 years old, passed suddenly. His last resting place was determined to be the Grand Island Cemetery. In accordance with the instructions that Shawn provided, there will be no service. Donations to the Central Nebraska Humane Society may be contributed in Shawn’s memory as a fitting way to remember his life and legacy.
During this difficult time, All Faiths Funeral Home is providing assistance to the family. He is the son of Michael and Linda (Schmid) Honeycutt and his name is Shawn Michael Honeycutt. On November 7th, 1979, he came into the world at Grand Island. He was born in Grand Island and attended the Grand Island Senior High School, where he earned his high school graduation in the year 1998. His youth was spent in Grand Island.
He was a baseball player for the Legion, and he enjoyed Taekwondo in his spare time. Shawn started working at Lakeview Nursing Home once he had finished all of the necessary training to become a licensed practical nurse. After that, he pursued a career in respiratory therapy and was currently working at CHI Health St. Francis, where he had gotten his training.
His parents, Mike and Linda, who live in Grand Island, are among those who treasure his memory. His sister and her family, Andrea (Kubi) Karul and their children, Kagan and Ayla, who live in Anaheim, California; his uncle Jerry Honeycutt and his wife, Teresa, who live in McCook; his aunt Jackie Mayhan and her husband, Tom, who live in Omaha; and a number of other relatives are also among those who are close to him in spirit. Both sets of his grandparents have passed away before him. His grandparents on his father’s side, Elmer and Hazel Honeycutt, and his grandparents on his mother’s side, Harold and Ardith Schmid, both passed away before him.
