Smyth John Obituary, Death – William John Smyth, also known as Bill, passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2023, at the Brooklands Nursing Home in Antrim, where he had been a resident for the previous three years. William John Smyth was his full name when he was born. It was in the Loughan Hill neighborhood of Ballymena that he purchased his first home, and it was there that he brought up his family.
In addition to being the beloved partner of Margaret, he is the cherished father of Jeff and Karen, the doting grandpa of Shealyn, Shannon, and Jordan, and the doting great-grandfather of Jordan. Everyone in his family adores him, from his children Jeff and Karen to his grandchildren Shealyn, Shannon, and Jordan. In addition to this, Diane and Davy both acknowledge him in their own families as being their father-in-law.
A service of remembrance and thankfulness for the life of Bill will be place on Thursday, May 25, at 2:30 p.m. at Henry’s Funeral Parlour in Ballymena, which can be found at 100 Broughshane Street. After the funeral service is over, he will be laid to rest in the Ballymena cemetery, which can be reached via the Cushendall Road. The cemetery is located in Northern Ireland.
