Terrence M. Ritchie Obituary, Death – Terrence M. Ritchie “Chum,” 66 years old, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at ThedaCare in Appleton surrounded by his devoted family. He was a resident of New London. Chum Ritchie was brought into the world on June 30, 1956 in New London by his parents, Bernard and Charlene (Ravey). He was an exceptionally skilled mechanic and carpenter.
Chum was extremely imaginative and could mend anything that broke. He possessed a freewheeling attitude, a bold spirit, and a quick wit. Chum is survived by his father, Bernard; children, Amy (Scott) Samp, Angie (Chris) Bucklin, Andrea “Picker” O’Brien, Travis Wochinski and Tanner Ritchie; grandchildren, Savanah, Indigo, Ethen, Ariana, Shayd, Lakyn, Sage, Macy and Terry; great-grandchild, Lane and siblings, Mike (Pam) Ritchie, Bernie (Barb) Ritchie, Joanne (Jerry) Piotter, Peggy Burton and Cindy Ritchie.
Willie Burton, Chum’s brother-in-law, as well as his mother and his brother Ken all passed away before him. On Thursday, June 1, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning, the Funeral Service for Chum will be place at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. The viewing will begin at nine in the morning and continue up to the time of the funeral service. Floral Hill Cemetery in New London will be the location of the burial.
