Tony Trent McMillan Obituary, Death – On May 24, 2023, Tony Trent McMillan, 62, also known as “Squawk,” received his wings. The late James William and Barbara Ely McMillan welcomed Squawk into the world on February 17, 1961 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He will be cherished for being a wonderful husband, father, Pop Pop, and close friend.
Squawk loved hanging out with his family and friends on the river. Since its debut in 2006, he has been employed at Joel’s Tire and Automotive. He liked racing in all its forms, whether it involved motorcycles, boats, or cars, and the faster the better. Squawk was a great man who would always go out of his way for others. He never encountered a stranger, and everyone who had the pleasure of coming into contact with him adored him.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law Paul Hamilton and his brother-in-law Gary Nelson in addition to his parents. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Kim McMillan; his son Alex (Chloé) McMillan; his daughter Madison (Mark) Britt; his grandchildren Cohen Trent McMillan, Asher James McMillan, and Trace Wayne Britt; his mother-in-law Becky Hamilton; his father-in-law Jerry Grantham; his brother-in-law Mark (Valerie) Grantham; his siblings Gene (Kathy) Goff, Randy.
Squawk’s funeral service will be place at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS, on May 26, 2023, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Bruce A. Lynd, Jr. and Rev. James V. Miller will preside over the funeral ceremony, which will start at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Alex McMillan, Mark Britt, Colt McCarra, Joel McCarra, Bruce Cook, and Joey McQueen will serve as pallbearers for the burial at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Mark Grantham and Justin Hancock will serve as honorary pallbearers.
