Vance Channel Obituary, Death – Vance Just one day after turning 52, Jeffrey Channel, often known as Jeff to friends and family, passed away in McAlester, Oklahoma, on May 25, 2023. Jeff was the adored son of Terry Mack Channel and Vicki Juanita (Kuykendall) Channel. Jeff was born on May 24, 1971, in Jacksonville, Texas. Jeff is survived by his sisters, Terri Stone of McAlester, LeAnn Griffin and husband Jack of McAlester, and Robin Channel of Coalgate.
Stepfather Kevin Brown and wife Lisa of Hartshorne; stepson Lucas Cooley and wife Rose of McAlester; grandchildren Lily-Ann Cooke, Cali Cooke, and Sacious Cooley; nieces and nephews Chance, Chad, Danielle, Clayton, Greyson, and Allye; special friend Tracy Wilcox; and numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His parents, his life companion Patrice Wilson, and his nephew Kristopher Channel all died before him.
Jeff went to Crowder High School, where he made a lot of friends and memories that will last a lifetime.
Later, he started working at The Tractor Shop of McAlester for his stepfather Kevin. Jeff was a loyal worker who took great pride in his profession and consistently worked to give his clients the finest service possible. Jeff was a devoted outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed riding his Harley, going fishing with his nieces and nephews, and hanging out with his loved ones.
He was well renowned for his outgoing personality, love of life, and willingness to take on new challenges and assist those in need. All who knew Jeff will sadly miss his contagious laughter and kind grin. Even under the most trying circumstances, Jeff had a special knack for bugging his loved ones and finding ways to make them smile and laugh. All who knew him will miss his infectious laughter and sense of humor very much.
