Yolanda Famiglietti Obituary, Death – On May 6, 2023, lifelong Edinburg resident Yolanda Noemi Famiglietti died after a protracted illness. Gualeguaychú, Argentina, raised Yolanda. She married Vito in Morón, Argentina, and had two boys, Carlos (Lynn) and Ernesto. After saying goodbye to family, they moved to the US with their young family.
Yolanda again settled in Hartford, CT, and had a daughter, Rosanna. John and Linda (J.P.) were born after the family moved to Waterbury, CT. Timex Corporation in Middlebury, CT hired Yolanda for 20 years. She worked at Laurier McDonald for 20 years after moving to Edinburg, TX.
Vito Famiglietti, her 50-year-old husband, predeceased Yolanda. and numerous nieces and nephews. Yolanda opened her home to family, friends, and strangers. She adored everyone. Yolanda always listened, encouraged, and blessed others. Her varied abilities and joyous spirit were her calling card and her strength. Yolanda’s stories could leave you stunned and chuckling, as her twinkle was always present and her humour was ready for any situation! .
She loves children, animals, birds, trees, flowers, dancing, singing, cooking, and learning about anything! Anyone who knew Yolanda will miss her touch most. In addition to Yolanda’s five children, her grandchildren, Jessica Varholak (Nick), Vito Famiglietti (Alison), Savannah Holdsworth (Nick), Preston Henrichson (Analisa), Taylor Famiglietti, Sean Monday, Madison Famiglietti, Bridgette Famiglietti, Julia Monday, Christian Famiglietti, Wendy Smartt (Tim), Edward Henrichson-deceased (Luci), Kevin Henrichson (Kate), Nathalia Brown (James), and Lauren Lemieux, are also left to remember her.
